Regional Community Orchestra for
Southwest
Missouri
The
SDCO is a member of the
American
Symphony Orchestra League
Founded in 2005, the Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra is one of the newest stars in southwest Missouri’s cultural firmament. Comprising more than 90 talented professionals, students, and enthusiasts, the SDCO presents a 3-concert season of great orchestral masterworks, all free and open to the public.
Most performances are held in the Clara Thompson Hall/Mabee Performing Arts Center on the campus of Drury University (900 North Benton Avenue, Springfield, MO).
Though admission is free, donations are gladly accepted. If you are interested in helping to support the SDCO, please see the “Support the SDCO” section of the website.
