Rosemary Jackson, lyric soprano, holds a A. B. degree from William Jewell College and Masters from Southwest Missouri State University. Her voice teaching credits include Schoolcraft College and Southwest Baptist University. Performances with Kansas City Lyric Opera, Northern Michigan Opera in leading roles, Mimi, La Boheme and Butterfly, Madama Butterfly. She has sung with the St. Louis, Tulsa, Detroit, and Cleveland Blossom Festival symphonies and several seasons with the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City. Awards include finalist with the Metropolitian Opera Auditions, American Opera Auditions in New York, National Vocal Chair for Music Teachers National Association and recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Citation of William Jewell College. Currently she is Director of Music at St. Paul's United Methodist Church and maintains a private voice studio for preparatory students and adults.
